Tik Tok has taken over social media. All that you see now is everyone joining in recreating challenges to their favorite artist songs. But one thing that I have noticed, is the buzz that artists are getting from the streaming of their songs.

Doja Cat- Say So, Megan Thee Stallion-Savage, Wiz Khalifa- Something New, and Runituptahj-Hit yo groove has been the challenges that have been filtering through social media. Family and friends are joining in on the wave. TikTok has provided a space for people to occupy their time and bring families closer. It has shined a light on such an unfortunate situation, due to the coronavirus pandemic causing everyone to stay indoors.

Hip Hop has been a big influence and has allowed artists to gain fans and support from all around the world. Doja Cat, for example, featured Tik Tok dancer Yodelling Haley in her video, because of her support with her song. Her choreography was also featured in her video, which I believe was a nice gesture. Doja Cat gave credit to her supports. Rapper Wiz Khalifa and Megan Thee Stallion have taken to social media to show their appreciation and support that they are getting on the app.

During this time it is important to take advantage of this free time to rebrand yourself, promote your music, start a blog, or jump-start that business that you have been pushing to the side. But most importantly it is important to focus on your mental health, apps like Tik Tok are a perfect way to get up and active mentally and physically.

I honestly feel like TikTok is taking over the game fr. Everywhere you look somebody is either on TikTok, doing a TikTok dance, or even singing a song from TikTok.
